Once a high-end furniture maker, the Italian born Walter Rossi left behind success to devote himself entirely to his own artistic vision. His Brooklyn brownstone became a three-story studio-gallery-dwelling, and he began renting out a room in the house to supplement his living expenses. That is how filmmaker Fiona Kane found Walter through a Craigslist ad. In 'Walter's World', Fiona documents his home-turned-gallery - a kinetic, surreal space filled with metal, neon, and found-object sculptures. With no concern for fame or recognition, Walter creates purely for the joy of making, revealing a world shaped by an outsider artist who answers only to his imagination.
